DOHA: Ecuador captain and forward Enner Valencia struck twice to drive his side to an earnest 2-0 triumph over Qatar in the initial match of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Ecuador displayed their mastery over Qatar right from the outset as their forward Valencia got the ball only three minutes into the game following a horrible error by Saad Al Sheeb as the last option neglected to punch away the ball at risk.
